Dags Hockey was born out of passion and love for the game of hockey. For us, hockey training is a unique opportunity to teach some of life’s most valuable lessons and create cherished memories. The importance of discipline, effort, resiliency, teamwork and attitude transcend hockey. If we can help players build skills on the ice that also benefit them in life, it will have been well worth our effort. Hockey is life.
What does DAGS mean?
We get this question a lot. “DAGS” is short for Dagmar. Dagmar Anne Gorman was one of the most passionate sports fans of all time. She loved the competition and the camaraderie of it all. She knew next to nothing about hockey, but was at every game cheering for the home team. “DAGSIE” or “DAGS” as she was known dove in head first and showed everyone how to love the journey. The ultimate hockey mom. It’s in her honor that DAGS Hockey bears its name.
